This past summer, Cameron set out on the annual Trek for Tourette with the goal of raising awareness and funds for Tourette Canada (formally Tourette Syndrom Foundation of Canada). Not only did he meet his fundraising goal, but he far surpassed it!

The event hosted by Tourette Kelowna is an annual event that improves Tourette awareness and provides support to those in need in the Okanagan and surrounding areas. Traditionally a 5-kilometre walk, the event is held in communities across the country.

Due to COVID-19, the event was held virtually this year but that didn’t hinder the efforts! Cameron graciously donated $25 for every participant that joined his team AND $1 for every kilometre walked.

Cameron’s original fundraising goal was $5000 which he far surpassed!

When the Gratitude Project heard about Cameron’s commitment to the cause, they couldn’t help but elevate his efforts by contributing an additional $3000 to Tourette Canada.
