Pig Out Festival: Food aficionados will be more than pleased to participate in the 2024 Pig Out Festival, hosted by Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. On May 4, dig into a fiesta of juicy ribs, flavorful pulled pork, local sausages, hot sauces and delicious sides and salads at Cellar Door. Head over to The Bear, the Fish, the Root, and the Berry at Spirit Ridge Resort for modern vineyard cuisine inspired by the restaurant’s Indigenous roots on May 3, followed by a Big Porker Breakfast on May 5.

Osoyoos Spring Festival: Spend the day enjoying the spring air and treat your ears to live music at the second annual event at Pedestrian Square. The festival is free to attend, and takes place from May 15-20.

Osoyoos Desert Centre: This outdoor interpretive facility allows visitors learn about desert ecology, habitat restoration, and conservation of endangered ecosystems in the semi-arid shrub steppe of the South Okanagan. ​Take a guided or self-guided tour along a 1.5 km elevated wooden boardwalk, or experience the hands-on exhibits and a native plant demonstration garden. Browse the Gift Shop, enjoy a snack or bagged lunch in the outdoor picnic area, or relax at one of the kiosks and take in the spectacular views!
