The 20 year old power forward is having a career year with the Kelowna Rockets, scoring 43 goals and adding 27 assists so far this season.

 

 

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that Rockets forward Carsen Twarynski has signed a three-year entry level contract with the NHL club.

 

 

 

 

He leads the Rockets in goals and has joined some pretty amazing Rockets elite in the 40 plus club.

 Since being acquired at the trade deadline last season, Twarynski has played in 94 regular season games with the Rockets scoring 50 goals and 42 assists for 92 points.

He also added three goals and two assists for five points in 16 post season games last year. Twarynski was drafted in the third round, 82nd overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

The Calgary, Alberta native is in his second season with the Rockets. Twarynski has appeared in a total of 255 career WHL games split between Kelowna and the Calgary Hitmen.

The power forward has racked up 86 goals and 94 assists for 180 points. He also has a career +/- rating of +37 so far.
